  Everyone has to void waste. Incontinence can be defined as those unplanned times when a person cannot control voiding. It can vary from a small discharge of urine to a complete loss of bladder and/or bowel control. Is incontinence a rare condition? No. It's estimated that 5% of the total population of the country will experience some form of incontinence in their lives. Currently, that means that over 13 million people in the United States deal with or will deal with incontinence during their lifetime. And not just adults...children too.
